Martha’s Vineyard Hospital is a critical access, not-for-profit, community hospital on the island of Martha’s Vineyard. Committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to the community and its visitors, MVH provides acute, ambulatory, and specialty services either on-site or through its affiliation with Mass General Hospital.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

New Pharmacy w/ Clean Room
Single phase renovation of 2400 square feet former surgical support space and 1000 square feet new addition to house the 800 series compliant clean-room provided and installed by GRIFOLS Healthcare.

PROJECT CHALLENGES

Procurement of all specialized materials during COVID with several supply chain issues on the rooftop equipment, clean-room components, and extensive electronic monitoring and systems reporting equipment. Close coordination with partnership with GRIFOLS Healthcare to support specific clean-room layout and specialized equipment.  Work commenced on January 23, 2022 and completed for Department of Public Health final inspection on September 2, 2022; successfully achieved.
